We had an awesome day exploring Bali beaches by scooter today. First, we went to Jimbaran, which is known for fresh seafood restaurants. You can pick out your seafood, they cook it and you eat it right on the beach. We saw lots of russian signs for "Уха", which is a russian fish soup. There are so many russian tourists in Bali. We had a delicious lunch on the beach - fresh oysters, snapper, lobster, shrimp and squid. Then we swam in the turqoise water, it was calm enough for me compared to Legion and Kuta beaches that are mainly for surfing. Then we stopped at Balangai beach, with cliffs and caves. Afterwards, we rode to Uluwatu beach, that's considered one of the famous surfing beaches. It was quite beautiful with overhanging cliffs with bars and hotels with spectacular views of the ocean. We watched the surfers take beautiful consistent waves. Next to the beach is the famous Uluwatu temple with the resident monkey colony. We watched Kecak and fire dance show there. It was absolutely amazing - 70 men chanting and dancing playing the Hindu story of Ramayana. It was my favorite day so far in Bali.
