Our first morning in Memphis we had breakfast at the Bon Ton café supposedly a place Elvis sometimes went. I tried to reach out to him wherever he is, Elvis what should I order? The potatoes, regular, smothered, covered or smothered and covered. Went with smothered and covered as that seemed like a very Elvis thing to do. The food was great but it is a heart attack on a plate. The décor is probably much like it always was with a very 1950's feel. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very upbeat seemed like a bunch of people just happy to be there and me with no blue suede shoes.
