I was a minute late (Thanks Grump) but the nice guy let me in and told me to take my time - I am sure I reminded him of his grand mom or something. The place is full of the history behind the making of the bomb, WWII in general, the folks that were there and art oh and a missile garden. There is an art installation done by a person who was taken prisoner by the Japanese. I knew the treatment was brutal but I did not realize how many people died. My mom used to tell me about an Uncle, a priest, who was kept as a captive during the war. I could hear her words as I walked through the exhibit. The images looked like Hell on earth.
