On our return to Cairns we checked into Corona guesthouse again and booked a trip onto the great barrier reef for the following morning. We didn't like the thought of leaving Sherbet outside all on his own but it was the cheapest option as we didn't know of any cheap camping grounds in Cairns. Our first flight was a 7hr 45minute journey with British airways to Sydney from Singapore... Unfortunately didn't get much sleep, even after a few courtesy white wines and vodka cokes! Then a quick transfer across Sydney airport... immigration let us in, G'DAY AUSTRALIA! Follwed by a 3hour flight upto Cairns on a Qantas plane... we both slept for the majority of this one!
