We all woke up relatively late on Sunday morning before ducking out for a big brekky of eggs, bacon and toast. Walking back through brick lane was interesting because there was a huge market on, we all got a fresh juice. After brekky I decided to get my nose pierced and Alice, her ear so we went to the nearest piercing place and got them done. Expecting a lot of pain, I was suprised when it didn't actually hurt. And I love the piercing! Bel was keen to get her tattoo, so we went to the place she'd picked out, only to find it was closed which was a bummer. We decided we'd head to topshop to make some purchases before our Jack the Ripper tour that night, thinking we had all the time in the world- we were wrong. We left Oxford street and attempted to train to east aldgate station, only to find the particular line wouldn't take us there. We went back to Liverpool, got another train, and that wouldn't take us to east aldgate either. The tour had already began and we were repeatedly going in circles, so we decided to walk to east aldgate. As soon as we got there we saw the station was closed, hence the difficulty getting there, but still the tour was no where to be seen. We were starting to lose hope, our feet were throbbing and time was ticking. Standing hopelessly outside aldgate east station, a nice man decided to give us a hand and tell us where to go, we were so thankful. We starting walking there and noticed a large tour group, and think "yes! This is our group!" We joined it, and starting walking. We found out a few minutes later, it wasn't actually our tour, but the guide pointed out another one nearby, which was ours! Finally, some luck. The tour was really interesting, but it was quite a walk, and we had already walked about a billion kilometres already that day, so concentrating and standing still was a struggle. We saw all the places jack and gruesomely killed his victims, which was scary and exciting! By the time we got home, we were all exhausted, and crashed on our rock hard hostel beds. Keep tuned in, xoxo Molly.
