Bit late on this blog entry but hopefully I remember everything from this day, it was really great. We woke up late in the morning and ate an amazing brunch if fresh salads at a nearby chic cafe Franzé and Evans which we woofed down within a matter of minutes! Although they were a bit pricey, they were worth it, great eating such fresh food after long flight. We then embarked off to Madame Tussaud's, and at our arrival were amazed by our first glance at inner London city. Looking a lot like eager tourists, snapping as many pictures of red buses and the amazing architecture as possible. We walked excitedly over to Madame Tussaud's, only to learn that the perks of buying tickets online wasn't as good as expected, as we still had to line up in the hot sun (suprising for London weather!) but once inside, it was totally worth it. We posed with heaps of wax celebs, absolutely wet our pants in Madame Tussaud's house of screams , learnt interesting facts about early London life on a cab ride and watched an amazing 4D marvel comics film where we were sprayed with water from out seats. All in all, Madame Tussaud's definitely lived up to our expectations. Having some spare time left in the day, we embarked to Oxford circus to finally take a look at the famous strip of shops. We went to Zara which was average, nothing really appealing to me. After an exhausting day, we managed to pull together enough energy to make a salad for dinner, pretty average and boring, but it was food, so we woofed it down. As we lay on Alice's bed at the apartment expecting to stay awake until at least 11 on wifi or watching a movie, we all gradually nodded off, one by one until we all pretty much exhaustedly passed out at around 9pm. We all woke up at 5am the next morning confused at when we actually fell asleep and how any of us managed to turn off the lights during the night but we forced ourselves back to sleep to avoid jet lag and make sure we weren't to tired on the following night! That's day 2 covered. Keep tuned in for more. Xoxo Molly
