This entry in covering what I remember of Friday and Saturday so it may be a long one, only continue if your in for the long haul. We woke up relatively early in Friday morning as checkout for the apartment was at 11. After checkout we made our way to the hostel, about 1km down the road from the apartment. Once we got there, we were told we could only check in at 4 so we all indulged in a coffee before setting off for a short shop. Once we returned we eventfully struggled to get our backpacks on, embarrassingly falling and Bek knocking over a bucket of ice, a great start to life at the hostel. But there was a bright side, we each got a free cider. The room was nice except there was no mirrors in the bathrooms, a faulty locks (I got locked in the bathroom when the lock fell off, scariest thing of my life), no ventilation, the room stinks of paint and the showers are meh. But it was really clean, and the sheets were nice and fresh. On Saturday we headed out sight seeing with our pre booked vouchers for the London bridge and the London eye. We arrived at the London bridge and (the keen tourists we are) took like a billion photos. The tour was interesting, but Saturday was really hot (32 degrees) so it was pretty tiring walking around in the heat. Next we had to make our way to the London eye, which turned out to be difficult. Firstly our oysters (the same kind of annoying things as Myki) had no money so we searched for places to top them up before getting on the bus, which ended up turning into a long walk. Once we finally got onto a bus, we accidentally missed the stop and had to get off about 5 stops later when we noticed and take the bus back the other day. The time ticked on, and we ended up making it to the London eye at about 4, and the line was huge. We realised we wouldn't have time to do the London eye and make it home for dinner before our pub crawl so we changed the date to Tuesday. On the way home, we had to find something for dinner, so we searched for a Tescos (like Coles) which are literally impossible to locate when needed. We ended up walking almost all the way home before finding one. Once we reached the hostel my feet literally looked tortured, all cankley, dirty and blistered. We had to rush dinner and quickly get ready before travelling to Camden for our pub crawl, which totally worked out being worth the rushing around. We got heaps of free drinks, met great people, and got to dance. Once home we crashed yet again. This didn't actually turn out that long, I'm too tired to cover Sunday within this blog entry. So ill do it tomoz. Keen tuned in. Xoxo Molly
