Halloween! And despite all of my pumpkin-carving efforts, we only had 2 trick-or-treaters! Then again, I'm not sure we were ever going to be able to compete with the houses across the road. They lay out tables on the front porch laden with cakes, biscuits and sweets. Show offs!!

Can't say I'm too bothered though, as Dave's plane lands tonight. So excited!!
