Sorry it has taken me so long to post pictures. Like I said before, we only have one computer with internet in an apartment of 6 girls. And sorry about my last blog from Paris which had a million typos. I only had 5 minutes on the computer, the keyboard was really messed up, and the letters on French keyboards are slightly different from what I'm use too.
Anyway, I returned from my France and Spain trip safely and it was of course so amazing. I posted pictures so you can see all the great things I did. I did sooooo much that it's hard to remember everything! I did discover what a wonderful city Paris is. I really love it. I can't decide if I like Rome or Paris better. They are so incredibly different from each other. Paris is cleaner, more modern, more international (there are much much much more international food options), a little bit bigger, and actually has a metro system (Rome's metro only has 2 lines, which most people dont use. This is actually because everytime they dig to expand the metro system, they find some ancient building and they have to stop by law and preserve the historical findings, which is actually funny and pretty cool). But Rome does have a lot more history and culture. I just can't choose between the two cities!!!
Yesterday I got back from a weekend Florence (aka Firenze in Italian). I spent two nights there with my roommates Juliette and Gracie. It is a very beautiful city. I went to 2 museums and saw some amazing/famous art such as The Birth of Venus and Michelangelo's David. The city was basically the home of the Renaissance so there is a lot of art and culture. However, the city has now been completely consumed by tourism. Every single person walking around is a tourist and there isnt much to the city other than accomodating the city's tourism aspect. Which was fine for me as a tourist, but still a bit sad. Anyway, I still thought Florence was great and beautiful and I had so much fun there. The girls and I would leave our hostel at 8am every morning and explore until 6pm. And then pass out by 8pm. It was pretty funny. We got back to Rome last night and it's really nice to be back home....
