Well since the Hilton experience, i've held a baby koala, hand fed a few emus and most importantly, seen my first wild platypus at Warrawong nature park during a dusk nocturnal walk when they are most active!
I've also managed to grab a short term position working 6 days a week for a huge charity organisation called Medecine Sans Frontiere (Doctors without Borders for those non french fluent people!) I'm doing promotion work, trying to get people to pledge small donations on a monthly basis and last week it appears my geordie tongue is working wonders and i actually raised around $6,000 for the health professionals who are going over to these areas of devistation next month.
I'm staying in the best hostel with a ridiculously good bunch of characters... the other day was amazing that there was 11 of us all chatting, with everyone from a different country... England, Scotland, Walkes, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, Sweden, Swiss, Canadian, American and a dirty german even sneaked in as well! Helping out with odd maintenance jobs now and again to reduce accomodation costs!
