Had our first day off today and we were lucky enough to get a lift off site to the local cinemas and shops. well it wasn't that local-30mins away. We went for lunch at a place called T.G.I Fridays which was really nice and we had a our first real chance to try out the Aussie accent. And it didn't disappoint. This cute little kid sitting behind us had a birthday and all the staff came out singing and clapping this special song for him...it was sooo cool! it was like a war-cry.

After lunch we were pysched to see the latest Indiana Jones movie which turned out to be a complete waste of time! The best part was seeing the bloody pre-view for the next batman movie. Harrison Ford was useless and Cate Blanchett had terrible Ukranian accent...seriously don't bother with it!

It was great to get off site today and see a few new people. While camp is fun and relaxing, it can get a bit boring doing the same old thing. It's back to work tomorrow unfortunately, probably mowing or something laborious.

Just before i go, we had another round of the Sag-Tas open today with Giggles (don't ask why) representing NZL, taking the title with an amazing round of -8. I came in runner up with a much improved -1 after 18 holes. The glorious Hooters T-shirt has remained in the clutches of the New Zealanders for 3 rounds now...this must and will be rectified!
