Hey folks, Anita here. I thought that I would add my own postcard as Mike left out a few little details. First of all, he is corret about the scuba steve comment. He went in with a bang and came out with...well lets just say not a bang. I don't know what the technique is for scuba diving, or if it is actually oxygen in those tanks. But man when Mike came up he was pretty much stoned. I think they were smoking something down there. It took him the rest of the time at that reef before he could get his s*** together! Oh, and we don't have great sea legs yet, so that didn't help. No puking though! Anyway, it was a fun day. Good weather too. Like Mike mentioned, we went white water rafting yesterday and it was sooooooo much fun. I loved it and I've got some great battle scars to prove it. 2 bruised hips, a broken wrist and bruised and scraped up knees. Just kidding about the broken wrist mom. But I did give it a good bang...on my way out of the boat....head first. I was the sole occupant of our boat that was tossed out by the elements and not by the efforts of other crew members. Yup, I fell out in the rapids. Complete backwards summersault. Didn't see it coming and didn't really realize it happend until I was almost back in the boat. Thanks to Mike I was back in about 10 seconds after I fell in. There's that survival instinct he's got. He yanked me back in by my lifejacket almost as quickly as I fell out. Great times had by all. Apparently the whole thing was pretty funny to watch. Or so I'm told. Anyway guys, that's the low down on the rafting trip. Most fun so far in Cairns. -Anita-
