Hi everyone, We are currently in Koh Samui soaking up the sun and relaxing for the first time since we went away. To get here we had to get a bus from Bangkok which took 11 and a half hours, then a ferry which took 5 hours - we left at 7:30 in the evening and didn't get to the island until midday. On Friday night we got a 15 hour night train to Chang Mai. They didn't have a first class on the train so we couldn't have air conditioning on the train and it was very hot. We went on a one day trip to Kanchanaburi last Thursday. We saw the bridge over the River Kwai, went to the death railway museum, saw a memorial to the POWs who died building the bridge in the Japanese POW camps and finished the day off going to Tiger Temple.
