So, in order to make sure that i would be in top condition for my long bike ride to Cornwall, I decided to go to the harbour festival in Bristol yesterday. It was brilliant and I can't believe I've never been before. This however turned into quite a late night and a sore head this morning. Trevor the 2nd? Need names! So, after spending the evening weeping and howling at the moon due to the loss of my trusty steed, Trevor, I got up in the early morning and resolved to not let this set back beat me. I went to a local bike shop just to have a look around and accidentally walked out with black beauty:A ridgeback flight. She seemed very light and speedy until I stuck on and filled the panniers. The trip home is back on!

I have hit my first snag ...my bike's been nicked!! Gutted!! We were in a pub on Gloucester road for end of term drinks. I left to go with friends and get some food and crushingly Trevor had gone. Watch this space...

What have I done?!?!? So, what started out as an idea a month or so ago now looks to be actually happening. Myself and Trevor the bike are going to be cycling to Cornwall. I've pinched some panniers, bought a bivvy, sourced a sleeping bag, Taxed a tarpaulin, And all being well I will set off on Sunday.
