My last night in Oz. I arrived back in Brisbane in the early afternoon and made my way to the Hilton. The accomodations were fantastic and the view from the room on the 19th floor overlooked the Brisbane Museum of Art.

Had dinner with Ken, Marie and their son, Anthony. I met them last year at my friends home and we got on well together. We set the date before I left the US and the plans came together. We dined at the Hilton's Atrium restaurant and spent a couple hours chatting about my trip and the state of Aussie affairs. They told me that when I came back to give them a ring, they would show me the town. I will most definately take them up on their offer next time through!

My plane doesn't take off until noon tomorrow, so I will have brekkie at the hotel and then leave around 9ish for the airport. Flight gets into LAX around 7 a.m.; my flight to Detroit leaves around 11 a.m. and arrives at half past six p.m. My nephews will be picking me up and I'll drive back home.
