Ok, so I'm late in making this entry, and the picture is of Alcatraz not LAX (Lost Angeles International Airport). Let me tell you, I HATED LAX. I will do everything in my scope of abilities to avoid this place. It was old, dirty and yes, I'm spoiled by MacNamara in Detroit. Let me back up a bit. Tuesday, December 11 was a comedy of errors. All the little things were going wrong, from a project I was working on, to banking, to the new Ipod I bought for the trip....

So less than 24 hours and I've a million little things to do and no time for them all. Updating the Ipod, repacking the carry-on, visit to the bank and I'm calling it good. Christmas cards are going to be postcards from downunder this year. I've already packed the labels. Five plus hours to LA then 15.5 to Melbourne. I leave on the 11th and arrive on the 13th.
