MeznG. In the air, on the road, river or sea again
We wake this morning to the sight of lush green islands. At 8am we are docked at Crown Wharf St Thomas. The water is once again the crystal blue. We have no plans today so after a walk and breakfast we head off armed with bathers, towels, sunscreen and cash. St Thomas is shopping heaven for diamonds, jewelry, watches and most things you can imagine. We are not shoppers but we entertain ourselves by trying on ridiculously expensive rings and bracelets. They are gorgeous but no sale. We have arranged a 2 hour tour of the island with a private car at midday so we have time for a quick bite of lunch. We are sharing our driver (Riel) with another couple from Vancouver Canada. The drive takes us up to the highest point of the island and the view is magnificent. It's such a clear day we can see to Puerto Rica. Great way to see the island and so much cheaper than a ship tour. We have managed to grab some free wifi for the cost of a beer and Diet Coke so we can catch up with what's happening. Back on the ship by 4.30pm ready to sail to Domenica. How can 3698 people manage to get back on board by the scheduled 4.30pm time but 2 people can not. The cheer from the rest of the passengers as they made the long walk of shame along the dock 20 minutes late would be enough to make me not leave the cabin anymore. We have a lovely dinner tonight in the Symphony restaurant with a couple from San Diego followed by a Beatles tribute show that was awesome and a couple of night caps at the wheelhouse bar with Margaret and William from Scotland to celebrate her 60th birthday. Fun times.

Jodie Look at the colour of that water! And I'm guessing it's warm too!
