Day 1 Lie in, unpacking and organising. There is a new Disney app so you no longer have hassle of pre booking food and rides. All on app and it picks available times and keeps a record of your bookings.
Dad said parks would be very full as Easter so we would avoid lines by Fast Passes (you get 3 a day for free as a Disney Member) and book meals as well.
We did photos at resort entrance in horse drawn buggy after sorting out all arrangements - you get a wrist tag that opens villa door, is a charge card, gives Fast Pass entry and does other things. You get to keep them too.
After checking out the resort and pool we went to local shops, Disney Springs to look around and relax. Saw a great ride, a car that drives into lake, planned to go in after tea, but heavy rain arrived.
Dad thought Rainforest Cafe would be fun, tried to book and told a 4 hour wait. We checked Dinosaur Cafe and over an hour wait there. We went to boat on lake and that was just opening and were given a table in 25 minutes. Short walk around and back to eat.
We could see across lake to our villa. Then the storm came and it poured down. Just dripping when we left and I got a massive ice-cream in shop nearby. It was recommended by lady who served us, she said best ice-cream in Florida! It was massive and very filling.
As we left there was a massive Woody statue made of Lego - reminded me of Tim, he likes Lego.
