Well well well...
Kate has been with us for about 3 weeks now. So I thought i'd do another blog updating of our antics since her arrival.
I met her in Central Station with all her many belongings. She looks the same apart from her hair is now dark. I havent seen her for 2 years. She said I looked the same, apart from my hair was different. Everything is the same. We did the Congleton laugh. Congleton.
Last weekend we had a lovely weekend. Lov-er-ley. We went down near the Opera House in the day and had a picnic in the Botanical Gardens. Some birds stole our salad. Me and Kate rolled down a hill twice. I rode on the back of Kate like she was my donkey. We then walked over the Harbour Bridge and into North Sydney. Here we went to Luna Park. We loved it. Its very old fashioned like Blackpool Pleasure beach but better. We bought a day pass and went on many rides including the crazy mouse ride 5 times which was hilarious as it felt like it was going to fall apart and we all went in seperate cars and we all looked so special going round the ride on our own. I kept going crossed eyed for the camera. We also went on the Ferris Wheel when the sun was setting and it was amazing looking at the Sydney skyline. Me and Kate also went on this thing where you sit on a spinning floor and a man tells you to do certain things like 'Put your hands on your head, touch your feet etc' The last person to remain on the ride was the winner. Kate fell after 20 seconds and for the next few minutes it was just me and a 10 year old asian boy who eventually beat me and I was secretley really angry.
Kate is here now and she wants to write something on my blog but I wont let her as its my blog so she has told me to say hello to Mother Dines. She misses Cizza she says.
Other than that, I lost my job last week and got about 2 hours notice which was just great! The place I was working for closed down. I was secretly very happy as it was killing me but otherwise I was a bit annoyed as I need a job now and jobs at the moment are hard to come by! Me and Lizzy are working just a few days next week enrolling Chinese Students at Sydney Uni which should be funny as not many of them can speak English very well. Apart from that I am pestering the agencies most days for work.
The weather here is hot hot hot now! Me and lizzy spent last week by the pool (she got sacked by her psycho boss also!) and it was very relaxing. Marko has been lucky with his job and is still working full time - I still find it funny that he works in a place called Liverpool. It was obviosuly meant to be.
Last week we went out in Newtown and explored some of the places there - there are lots of good places to visit round here. We met an Australian Bus Driver named Diane who I think would get on well with Box. She was also slightly odd. I started a new dance which is the Kangaroo dance. You have to kind of stick your arms out in front of you like a kangaroo and then swing forward 3 times in a rhythmical way. Its tricky but with enough practice you could all look as cool as me. Maybe i'll video it 1 day. Also a couple of nights ago I went on the Pokie machines as it was like the one that I won at in Vegas. I put $1 in and came out with $7. It was the best day ever! It flashed up -'Please get the attendant to claim your money' so I shouted at everyone to calm down while I went to find him. I'm rich now and Mark thinks that my win might change me as a person as that sometimes happens but im going to try and stay the same.
Its Labour Day tomorrow and so no one is in work so we are having a day of celebration. We have met a couple in a flat in our block called Anna and Monika who are cool so they are coming round for drinks of Goon (cheap cheap wine) and also Gavin and his crew may be out so it should be a good do!
Right, we just sent Marko and Lizzy out to get the supplies for tonight. I am quite excited. Liz is also excited as the Australian Idol tonight is Abba themed. This doesnt make me quite as excited.
