Well, I wouldn't usually consider myself 'laid back' but this holiday has definitely proved that my usually overcautiousness is actually a blessing because we misread our itinerary and missed our flight. Well, we probably would have made it except there was no one from the airline at the desk to check us in which means we have to spend the next seven hours in this airport, because its easter saturday and all the flights are full, before we fly through the night to get to St Petersburg with hopefully enough time to jump on the tour bus!! 'fingers crossed'.

Whoops is probably an understatement.
All we can do now is hope all our flights work out and join our tour ASAP!
Luckily we've got 4 days in St Petersburg, so if we lose one day, we should be able to catch all we want to see in the other three. Will keep you posted!
