I don't want to whinge because there have been some good times this holiday but seriously!!! Today just adds to all the delayed flights, riots and other crappy things that have happened so far. We managed to get about two hours sleep amongst the helicopters and police sirens, we were then picked up and taken to the airport. Firstly, we were delayed in Barcelona, which is ok, I can handle that, then we get to Scotland and NO BAGGAGE!!! That was 11am this morning. They told us that the will definitely have it to us by 4pm. Ok, I can handle that too. We got our hire car and drove to the hotel. It was 1.45pm, check in was at 2 and apparently our room wasn't ready so they sent us away to come back later. Also, they do not have any parking so we are in metered parking and have to pay for it. It is now 8.30pm and no bags!! The only good thing about today is that I won a free big Mac!!!
