Well its been awhile.

Alot has happened. We've finally brought our tickets as far as the US of A at the moment and am making a flying visit into Chch for three days on our way. I'll be flying into chch on 24 May and out again on 27 May. I'll be looking forward to some NZ beer and a catch up with alot of people!!

Been at my job two or three weeks now. Its going well. I'm the nightfill manager with Jamie being second in charge and is the manager on my days off. Have even got the body used to a different time clock (finishing every night at 3am) but its great money and allowing us to sort out our travels during the day time. We seem to be working 6 days most weeks or with split days off if we're working 5 days.

We keep getting targeted for "random" government surveys and end up every three to four weeks with a strange Australian government offical on our doorstep asking to speak to us to fill in a survey. I think we're being spied on!!

But thanks to the Australian Government I now have contact lenses. Apparently my eye prescription is so bad that I warrant having all of my optometrist fees and consultation paid for. Finally I found an advantage of having incredibly bad eye sight.

Hope things are all well in the outside world. We hardly get the news anymore with working strange hours and all the news we do hear is within Aus. Love living in a bubble
