I've never seen so much rain!! The power went out at our fabulous hotel and so we really had nothing to do. We couldn't shower, get access to the Internet and most of the shops and restaurants shut down.
All 7 of us girls ended up at the Buddha restaurant to seek shelter from the pouring rain and have a sangria. We had a great couple of hours chatting and laughing.
When the storm let up in the late afternoon we met up at the purple disco and then set off to find the restaurant that Randy chose for us for dinner. Oh my, the Wild Ginger had amazing food. I may have has the best guacamole of my life! You'd never know the place was there but it is right on the ocean.
We took our water taxi back to the hotel and started a 90's dance off with our bartender and some American tourists.
I also finally found a margarita! My search is now over. :)

Brenda Lajeunesse It reminds me of the old song "Rain, rain to away". I'm sure that the lush vegetation doesn't get that way without rain. I'm glad that Buddha helped you girls find shelter plus sangria. Even the wettest Canadian will survive with sangria and guaucamole. My taste buds are crying out!
