I've never seen so much rain!! The power went out at our fabulous hotel and so we really had nothing to do. We couldn't shower, get access to the Internet and most of the shops and restaurants shut down. Today is the day of great food! We travelled by bus and then boat to Tortuguero. Had exceptional banana bread from a bakery before we left. The boat ride was fun and we saw a sloth and some monkeys. I think most other wildlife was hiding to stay out of the pouring rain! We stopped at a very remote place and had a fantastic lunch of fried chicken, lemonade, carrots, beans and rice and pineapple for dessert. Tortuguero is interesting. There are raised walking path...
