Journey from Torres Del Paine Where shall I start....yesterday we had another incredible journey...started at 7am, travelled through the National Park on bumpy unmade roads as usual for 4 hours through the most incredible scenery. We were lucky again because it was an absolutely clear day. There are only around 6 of these each summer and we have had 2 of them. Our guide was so excited that he stripped off and swam in one of the lakes because he had never seen it...

Journey from Puerto N atalis to Torres17.02.10 Wow what a day, travelled here by ferry boat, walked to a glacier, caught an 8 man zodiac up a fast flowing river for 90 minutes, walked a little to get past a water fall, and then transfered to another zodiac to go the last 40 minutes to the National Park..oh and had lunch in a lodge that just happened to be on an island in the middle of the river! Once in the park we had a private transfer by 4x4 across unmade roa...

Thought for today is...I´m sick of not being able to flush my loo paper!!! Bus journey here was very good. National Express, who perform well in England could learn a thing or two. There was plenty of space for legs between seats, all passengers were allocated seats, the seats were padded more than Nat Ex, and the reclining ... a choice of 6 positions. We journeyed on an empty road for 4 hours without seeing another village or settlement. We passed 3 Estancias...
