Hi guys,

We're back in Kota Kinabalu now after another couple of amazing days. On Monday we stayed on the most idyllic island - Turtle Island, crystal clear turquiose sea, white sand...absolute heaven! In the evening we watched a female Green Turtle lay its eggs on the beach and then we watched the ranger release some baby hatchlings into the sea...it was an incredible experience.

After Turtle Island we headed over to Sepilok Orangutan Reserve to watch the Orangutans feeding, they are sooo adorable. We also went on a nature trail through the Jungle which was a little daunting as our friend Nat had been on one earlier and got mugged by one of the Orangutans. It climbed down from the tree, unzipped her backpack, took out her raincoat and put it on! Then he ran back up the tree still wearing it...she managed to get it back eventually. Fortunately we didn't meet any on our trek, just saw some squirrels, lizards and lots of mossies. We both look like pizzas at the moment, we've been eaten alive by the damn things. Poor Mia has got bites the size of melons!

We also went to a Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary and saw some of the residents very close up. Got some really cool photos. Haven't got time to put them up at the mo but will do soon, hopefully.

Well we've run out of time again, gotta head back to our Seaside B&B now for some dinner, we've ordered noodles this time...getting quite adventurous! Hope everyone is well and haven't drowned in the floods! Its raining here too at the moment but its nice rain, very refreshing. Its been sooo hot the last couple of days that any rain is very welcome.
