Damn Hostel!...Broken air con, broken toilet, no hot water, leaky sink...aaahhh!

Ok, so yesterday we said the hostel was ok...we were kidding ourselves, it was a dump! We quickly checked out this morning after almost suffocating in the heat last night. The air con in our room didn't work, the bathroom was infested with ants, the toilet didn't flush properly, the sink was leaking and there was no hot water! It wasn't even worth the 4 quid we paid for the night. The staff were all friendly until we said we were checking out...funny that. So, for any of you ever considering staying at a hostel in KK - stay well clear of Trekkers Lodge!
Anyway, we've checked into the Summer Lodge now and its amazing. Its very clean, we have access to the internet all day, free tea and coffee, no ants , use of a microwave, laundry facilities, AIR CON!!!, TV, they've even burn't off a CD for us with all our photos on...and even better, there's a Pizza Hut next door - yipee!
We spent this morning looking round the sunday market and then ventured into the centre to browse the malls. Its been quite a relaxed day. Its still really hot here although it did rain a little earlier, but in this heat its really refreshing and very welcome. We're gonna go and try our neighbours delicious cuisine in a bit - Pizza, yum!! Everythings so cheap here, 2 meals at Pizza Hut will cost us about 2 pound fifty - bargain!
