P.s there are TWO blogs for you to find. One of our last day in Barcelona which only the beginning went up yesterday, and a big one from here too! We have located them do know they're there! Good luck!

When we were in Madrid we stayed ina really posh hotel (free with airmiles) with the entourage of the South Korean president who was paying a state visit to the King (palace closed unfortunately). The hotel had an underground pool and there was this bloke swimming and his swim hat had a built in waterproof walkman and I was very impressed. I was less impressed when we discovered that he was captain Raoul of Real. If I had known at the time he was a footballer I would have told him about my ancestor who played for Sunderland ...
Whe we were in Barcelona I bought a tapas recipe book but I could only find one in Spanish but I had a Spanish disctionary so I thought what the hell. The first recipe I tried translating had bread and garlic and mantequilla which I thought sounded very exotic and Spanish like amontillado or something. Definitely alcoholic! Turns out it's butter. This was the recipe for garlic bread.
Looking forward to Minty bringing home some authentic tapas recipes.
