Hey all. Hope you're all well and enjoying the nice weather I hear you've been getting.. Must be a nice change.. Today, it's 31 degrees, which is pretty average.. Hee hee. Still on the farm & still loving it, Guy & Susie are just lovely & love having us so we are staying put for a while. They are planning to go away for a week at the end of the month to see family & also have baby Emily christened, so have asked us to stay on to look after the place for them, which we are more than happy to do for them. We're still just pottering around doing the garden & fish work, there are some more sheep arriving at the end of this week so there will be some work with them to do, but its just so nice to be so relaxed & yet feel like we're actually doing something. Last week we had a great bbq picnic. They have a LOT of land out here & they have this really large area which they call the picnic clay pen as its a huge clay pond that you can swim in - I didn't but Gavin bravely went in up to his knees. We had a traditional camp fire with sausages and made homemade bread on the camp fire then had tea made from a proper camping kettle & homemade biscuits.. oh and a couple of beers! It was great!
