G'Day everyone. Hope you are well?
Just a real quick one to say we've done Perth, we actually spent just a few hours there then moved on, once we'd walked around, it was pretty nothing compared to Sydney & in the big cities, there's not much to do other than shopping, going to pubs & restaurants so when you're budget conscious travellers like us its not so much fun!!
We have now moved further up North from Perth & we're working on another great farm. Its a lovely place, huge open land full of greenery which looks & smells amazing in the mornings. So far we have rounded up a lot of sheep and moved them into paddocks a good 10 miles away - This was done by me in a Ute and Gavin on a motorbike - You can imagine who had more fun! We've also had to give the sheep their medicine so have become trainee farmers for a while! The owners of the farm were due to have a baby on the 30th April, but she arrived 2 weeks early on the day we got here! So we haven't met them yet but we are being looked after by the parents who are a lovely couple, and the guy reminds me of the farmer in the film "Babe" - For those who have seen it, you'll know who I mean!
Having a great time again here & certainly loving farm life more than city life! Just a quick one for now as we have very limited Internet access, it may be a week or so before the next.
