Woke up pretty early for some reason so got up, got showered and went to reception - was due to check out but as I hadn't arranged any new accommodation, I booked in for another night. Then I went on the computer and booked my next hostel - decided to move hostels once everyone else left as I wanted to go somewhere where I'm more likely to meet people starting the Oz Ex and wanted to stay somewhere different. its more expensive but I've gone for Wake Up because its meant to be a really nice hostel. I hope I meet some good people there, grew close to this group and gonna miss them. Part of me wonders if I should have stayed here as Ross and Val will be here till I leave but guess I need to start being on my own! Anyway, had a big list of things to do on the comp like sort our money and upload photos etc so made my was through that then met Valerie and we walked into town (about 20 mins). She was going to sort out some work stuff so she went and did that and I got some lunch then went shopping! Feels like so long since I did! Actually had a really nice day, the shopping here is brilliant and I couldn't resist some bargains!! Found a really nice shopping center and the biggest department store I've ever seen! Managed to find my way back to the hostel with no problems and was tired! Shopping is hard work! Went to my room and packed my suitcase ready for checking out the next day. Went downstairs to the TV room and ended up falling asleep! When I woke up I went upstairs to read and fell asleep on my bed! Woke up at 7.30 and there was an open mic night going on at the Down-under Bar so went down there but it was dead.... it was a shame as I maybe would have played. Not sure though, still have my sore throat! Played some pool then went back to the hostel and watched the Fighter on the rooftop, was pretty good! Managed to stay awake which I was surprised about haha, was deffo ready for bed when it finished!
