It took us ages to get to valley lodge as it is set deep into the country side, the nearest village is 45 minutes away! We had to choose either from 6 in a bunk bed dorms or a large dorm room where all the beds where on a shelf with the mattresses touching each other! Its been a crazy week since we landed in NZ. Sadly the weather hasnt been as warm as Fiji but sunbathing and lying of the beach has been replaced with extreme sports and walking!!!!
