It took us ages to get to valley lodge as it is set deep into the country side, the nearest village is 45 minutes away!

We had to choose either from 6 in a bunk bed dorms or a large dorm room where all the beds where on a shelf with the mattresses touching each other! This large dorm was also described as the orgy room....not quite a selling point!!! The group of us decided to stay in the small dorm room!

When the guy was explaining about the lodge how is it Eco and mostly self sufficient he also explained there were no locks on any doors and double showers for couples!! This is when it started to feel like we were staying at a swingers camp!!!!! we also then realised we had no phone signal! It was very funny finding all these "couple" things tho!!!!!

It is in a gorgeous location set by a river. In the evening we had a BBQ with everyone, nz lamb. This morning I have been for a yoga class by the river which was really relaxing but I def didn't enjoy it as much as Pilates!

We are leaving in an hr (def not staying here another night!!!) to head to wellington for a couple of nights in the city.
