Its been a crazy week since we landed in NZ. Sadly the weather hasnt been as warm as Fiji but sunbathing and lying of the beach has been replaced with extreme sports and walking!!!!

We landed in Auckland and spent 2 days there before we joined the Kiwi experience bus to take us around both islands. On the first day we looked around the city and started by going up the skytower. From here we managed to get our bearings. We also saw the golden arches for Mcdonalds ( or if you work for coke the office!) as we knew we could get free wifi here we decided that when we get down to try and find it. Tho as we were up in the tower with a bad sense of dirrection we spent the next 2hrs trying to find it!!! For the rest of the couple of days we went and did the usual tourist things such as the museum visiting the park etc...

On early Sat morning we joined the Kiwi bus, this took us first of all to the hot beach when you dug into the sand boling hot water came up which you could mix with the sea water to make a warm bath!

On sunday we did some stops to look at waterfalls, had lunch in Hobition (the location of lord of the rings filming) were we all had to have our photo taken!! In the afternoon we went to Whitianga where we went luging...so much fun!!!! You go down the side of a mountain on a piece of plastic like a go-kart racing against each other. Im still shocked with my track record that i managed to not damage myself!

We went to Rotorua to go black water rafting, had an amazing time in the caves. Jumping down pitch black waterfalls and looking at the glowworms.

For the last 2 days we have been Taupo, the plan was to do a skydive as soon as we arrived but due to the bad weather and heavy cloud it got delayed, this was then put back to 3 but then the airspace got closed due to the earthquake in Christchurch. This then got delayed 3 more times but luckily the airspace opened at 1pm today and we were able to jump!!! I was so scared so the constant delaying didnt help but i decided finally to do the higher jump of 15,000 which was AMAZING!!!! Luckily we didnt have to jump first thing due to being out last night where the brits ruled at the pub quiz!!

That was information overload and properly doesnt make sense!

I have been trying to put my pics up on facebook but the connection keeps failing so wont really let me.
