Hey guys, just to update you, we did a penninsula tour on Friday, involving a penguin or two, a bike ride and a baboon- and im not talking about lou! It was an exhilerating day to say the least, the bike ride was more of a challenge than a siteseeing opportunity! but we made it in our flourescent helmets and then went on to do a trek up to Cape Point and The Cape of Good Hope- the furtherst South Western point in SA- where Jo fell over! On the night- we partied our way down Long st for a once a year music festival. Satuday, we ventured up Table Mountain and 'did lunch'. The views were as expected and the cable car was an experience! Sunday- we decided to educate ourselves with the history of SA and took a boat to Robben island where Nelson Mandela and other black political leaders were imprisoned up until 1990. This was both a very interesting yet moving day. Tomorrow, we leave Cape Town on the Baz Bus and head for Plattenburg Bay where we will cabbage on a beach! Take care and lots of love, Jo and Lou xxx
