Well we've made it to our first destination after a long, sleep deprived flight! but luckily thanks to Mr T we managed to get extra leg room seats, thanx dad! The first day is a bit of a blur as we were so tired, but we mainly veged at our lovely hostel (which included a quick afternoon nap) and took in the local area. We've been very lucky as we had a large six bed dorm to ourselves for the first night. Our hostel is based at the bottom of table mountain and the views (expecially from the upstairs toilet) are amazing (there is a pair of binoculars in there, so its never boring sitting on the loo!) hehe. Our second day has been a very lazy one, you might say the calm before the storm!. We headed into the city centre after a nice long 12 hour sleep and looked around the local markets (you'll be pleased to know we refrained from buyin anythin). Its very hot here, but with a very cold wind so you don't realise how quickly you can burn, both of us are best described as 'glowing!.' The plan for the rest of the day is to just chill out at our hostel as we have an early start. Tommz we are off to the Cape Penisnsula, the most southern point of Africa for an exciting trip with the seals, a quick bike ride (yes physical exercise for us both!) down through the exciting scenery and a spot of lunch!!
