A morning on the lagoon….fishing! (Especially for grampa)

This morning I found myself endlessly walking up and down the beach at 7am! Looking for bate for the fishing trip… an hour later still nothing…some may find it quite annoying when you get up at that time and get nothing…from it. However it was a perfect way to start the day to which I took plenty from. The cool water on your feet, the perfect rainbow that was across the lagoon, green green forest on the opposite side of me, the sounds of the morning beginning to officially start… calm…no one else making a sound…only the thought’s in my head…. African Time…. Just relax there’s always time to do things. Back to the house….fishing time…. 2 hours on the lagoon unfortunately the weather proved to be a nucence, however a few bites...to which I found my initial cast into the water….2 minutes later thinking I had a rather large fish…..only to be the anker that I had caught….. a lesson never be too optimistic….it gave us a laugh….later on I found that I had started with 2 hooks and bate on my line…only to find one hoop left so something big was on there for a while…. So before the storm drew in and we made our way back. But a nice couple of hours. The rest of today was spent updating my blog (now I think you will be caught up…it was quite difficult writing back in time). The weather has been so changeable but at 6 it was blue sky’s… walking round the island for an hour, its incredible how peaceful it is, the water, friendly faces all around, the sounds of birds in the trees as the sun gets lower in the sky…. a nice way to end the day!
