This one's a bit late due to lack of internet access...
Sitting in Perth international airport at 4:56AM waiting to board & realizing that despite my best efforts I have in fact forgotten to pack something…tissues! (I know right, how on earth did I forget ANYTHING being my excessively organized self!). The nice boarder security lady took pity on me after I said a weepy goodbye to Mum & Nigel, and helped me fill out my departure form. So I'm sniffly & sleepy, but also super excited!!
Having had my phone die yesterday (which is either really good or bad timing, depending on how you look at it…), & bargained 3 Mobile down to allowing me NOT to pay for a service I won't be using for the next 5 months, I am without a phone for the next 24 hours or so until I can pick up a UK sim card. So if texts go unresponded to, please don't take offence! I'll be back on the same number when I return to Oz, & no doubt on a sparkly, brand new phone, as 3 tries to entice me to stay with them despite the mishaps of recent times…
Today I'm flying with Emirates to London via Dubai. I've been lucky enough to avoid a long stopover so I should be in London by dinner time on Friday! :) Dad has very kindly offered to come & pick me up from the airport, as luck would have it that he's over there on business at the moment.
I had a wonderful final day in Perth, starting with an early morning walk along Leighton beach, with Nigel & our rent-a-dog Ella, and then breakfast at Beaches café in Cottesloe. Late morning I went to a local French patisserie with Mum, Matty, & Nigel to have farewell croissants, & then in the evening Nigel's parents, along with Nomi, Matty,, Lija, Tom, Nav & Hannah (oh, & Zach the hairdresser! :P) all dropped by for two sittings of dinner.
Time to board so I will say adios for now, but I do hope to have some very exciting tales for you soon! Esther informs me that tomorrow morning we will be taking a walk on Hamstead Heath before a trip to Camden markets in the afternoon - sounds delightful!
Cheerio Old Chaps! :)

P.S. Btw, cool story for anyone who's seen Serendipity - I watched it 2 days ago while doing some last minute packing etc. & then last night, as my going away present, Nomi gave me a copy of Love in the Time of Cholera! What are the chances??? I asked her if it was because that's the book Sara writes her number in, in the movie, but no! Just a happy coincidence! Must be fate… :)

Nomi What can I say, its a great book, clearly we're meant to be together :) Haha, Liv I love that you think this blog is a bit late, considering you left YESTERDAY! Quit your typing and start doing things to make me more jealous! xo
Jeremy Carter Is it possible that I might have the second comment? Oh...and Nomes always makes me want to laugh... Have a wonderful time, Old Girl.
