Day 7. Up early to cach a lift with the 2 German girls to Wellington. They were pretty cool actually so the 6hr drive wasn’t as bad as it could be. Luckily someone with back pain took pity on me hobbling around and gave me some of his painkillers which worked amazingly well. Day 3. I managed to convince the docs that there had been minimal improvement to my foot and avoid hospital. Another drip and I was cleared to meet Duncs and catch the bus to Rotorua. Day 2 Up early for a free city tour we booked the day before. It was really good value as we were out for a good 6 hours and saw loads of things we wouldn’t have got to on our own. One of the guys on our tour did a cable-guided freefall off the Sky Tower (sicko) which was good to watch.
