Day 3.

I managed to convince the docs that there had been minimal improvement to my foot and avoid hospital. Another drip and I was cleared to meet Duncs and catch the bus to Rotorua.

Although I kept my foot up for the whole 3.5hr journey, it got worse and I couldn’t really walk. Because of this, I had to stay in the hostel from this point on. I watched The Departed (which is he best film I’ve seen in years, by the way) with a fella in our room while Duncs went exploring.
