Having left Auckland behind we joined the Magic bus and made our way down to Rotorua via Waitomo where we were able to go black water rafting which isn't really rafting at all but just sitting in a black rubber ring floating through the caves looking at all the pretty glow worms. Queenstown rocks! It's such a cool place and our room is amazing, we have our little apartment between the four of us with our own kitchen and everything! After the excitment of Taupo we arrived in Wellington and it's raining. The hostel were are staying is really nice with a really good bar which is where we have spent most of out time as they have so many promotions on and it's so cheap. From Rotorua when headed down to Taupo, which is smaller than I was expecting but still a really nice place with really good views. despite it being only a small place we were staying for three nights as we wanted to jump out of a plane and do the Tongariro Crossing which are both weather dependent. Well we've lost Thursday but have arrived in Auckland safe and well if not a little confused, it's a bit colder here than in South America so the jumpers are out. Auckland seems nice but can't wait to go and see the rest of the north island.
