Well this is our last stop in NZ before we head back down to Auckland to catch our flight over to Australia, the last two months have gone so quickly this is a truely amazing place and I've had the time of my life. We thought we'd leave the Bay of Islands till last as we thought the weather would be better, how wrong could we be it's like being in Ilha Grabde all over again. Cant really complain too much as the sun did come out yesterday afternoon ...

After staying in prison the previous night our hostel in Mount Maunganui was a vast improvement with really nice staff. Mount Maunganui is just a seaside town really but had a really good irish bar where we came 4th in the quiz out of 13! We also managed to get a $50 bar tab just for being us which went down well and we didnt even have to take part in the jelly wrestling! On the way from Napier we were able to go Zorbing which just involves rolling down a hill...

From Kiakoura we headed for Picton where we went on a v.messy wine tour of the Marlbrough region where we tried so many wines and even got to try some shots at the last place! After the tour had finished we continued the drinking, a very funny evening had by all but not much else to say about Picton. The ferry back over to the North Island was really calm and it was a really sunny day so we sat on the sun deck for some of the journey. We landed back in Welling...

After a tearful goodbye we left Emma and Bekkie and headed over to Kiakoura where we had arranged to stay at a hostel that belonged to one of the Magic Bus drivers, Uncle Steve (as we now call him). It's only a small place but we had a room to ourselves, a tv in our room and we got mates rates!!! We stayed a week and had so much fun, the day we arrived Uncle Steve took us out to this really nice Irish bar that's out in the country and then made us a roast...

Finally! The website is working! I'll try to remember what went on when were in Christchurch all that time ago. It's true what they say Christchurch is very English but I liked it, there are some really nice bars down by the river, not that we spent much time there, honest. We celebrated Emmas b-day whilst we were there which a very funny evening, we went out for a curry which wasn't the best but you don't really care when you've had a drin...
