SUNDAY 3RD DECEMBER DAY 13 LEAVING KOH TAO
Last day today, glorious day as usual, put all my photos on journal site which took long enough so no more sunbathing time could be wasted labelling them. Was determined from beginning to go to island called Koh Nang Yuan, it is 3 tiny islands connected by beaches. We got taxi long tail boat from our beach over there and had to pay £1.50 each to enter. The sea was even more clear than our beach, asked to hire a snorkel but none left. Was lying on peaceful beach for about 5 mins when were invaded by ferry loads of Japanese smokeless all with big mouths, so not wanting to spoil our last day in paradise got boat back to our beach. We had to navigate our way across sea cause taxi man didn’t have a clue! We had lunch and then left beach at 1430 as were leaving for pier at 1515. We were both really sad to be leaving as very cool island and met some cool people, even our, well Paul’s disaster hasn’t overshadowed it. Have also both left qualified open water divers. We could have defiantly stayed longer but more adventures ahead, hopefully no more disasters though. The bloke from the travel agent/internet café/telephone place took us to the pier in the back of his pick up, felt like we weren’t going to make it but did. We were told boat would take 90 mins like the one we came don on but it took 3 hrs. Had an hour for food in Chumpon and then got on bus at 2130, was expecting same posh vip bus but wasn’t, however we both slept lots so it was fine. Got there hour early at 0400 and got taxi straight to airport for our flight to Singapore..
