Dre snuck out of the room early for a 5 mile trek along the beach. After I finally dragged myself out of bed, we were flagged down by some local surferboys, Walker and Aaron, who aided in our quest for acai bowls by turning us toward Rum Jungle, which ended up being our new fav. Fueled up, we headed to the USS Midway, a badass carrier, that had been in our thoughts since we first arrived in SD. We spent the drive reminiscing about our off roading and mudding in Tahoe, when Andrea had us in hysterics by proclaiming how serious of a muddle pud we took Sylvester through. Dyslexia much?? After viewing carrier amazingness, planes and all, we headed to the Embarcadero Fishermen's Warf for Ceviche, Clam Chowder and Arnold Palmers. We then headed downtown to find Dre an outfit to wear for the evening. Along the way we encountered gramps who badly needed to find his gas pedal! It was time to get ready for dinner and the evening to follow and I was strongly considering banging on Miguel's door to find some proper water pressure for my shower. It was Taco Tuesday at Fred's and we were told this was the place to be. We met Walker and Aaron for tacos, margaritas for Dre and a bit of dancing. Now it was time to meet the real fun for the night! We met Lauren, Stacy, Mary and Lauren #2 at Nobu where conversation was definitely stimulating! After closing Nobu down and not being ready to call it a night we walked and danced down the street to Whiskey Girl for some major dance offs and attempted dodging of spilled drinks and foot crushing. San Diego didn't know what hit it with us six ladies wandering around, what a blast!
