We enjoyed a late breakfast of applepancakes (jumbo-sized) at Richard Walker's Pancake House. Subsequently we met our good friend J. Preston, whom Andrea charmed out of a ticket. Next, we hit Balboa Park where we had Rick the obnoxiously silent trolley driver. However all was well, viewing the beautiful buildings of Balboa. We then explored the Maritime Museum and got stuck in four Soviet submarine hatches. On the way back to the hotel, I almost had a heartattack of excitement at the sight of a Naval carrier (think JAG). After some intense power naps, it was time to pick up Ryan and Ty for dinner. Roppongi was amazing. Tapas and sushi can't go wrong ( i.e. Andrea's party in mouth). Next as per Ty's delightful advice we took a mile trek to Comedy Store where we were literally in stitches. We spent the rest of night listening to music at Pacific Beach Shore Club. The night came to a close with Ryan and I tag-teaming the navigation home. (Good thing we didn't listen to Ty who wanted Ryan to peddle and me to steer).
