Well a long time has passed, and I have done quite a bit :)
So about 3 weekends ago, my housemates friends from England came out which was cool...we all went out on the Friday night to Da Vinci, and on the Saturday I went with Ant, Katie, Iker and Ryan to an Erasmus party in Plentzia, a near by costal town which was awesome....
Work has been going well too...I am now deftinitly putting on a show with my students in March, I have a meeting with the students tomorrow to see who wants to do what and how many students want to be on the stage...I am very excited for this as it is going to be the first time that I have ever put on such a big thing for charity...in fact it may be the only time I have ever put anything on like this!!
The weekend before last we had another puente...basically I had Friday till Thursday off which was awesome...On the Friday night rhi and I stayed in to watch Love Actually, listen to Christmas music, put up Christmas decorations and make mulled wine, which was really awesome!!! On Saturday we decided to go to Durango as there was a fiesta, and it was awesome, we drunk lots of wine, ate some more goats cheese tapas on my behalf, and danced till 4 or 5!!
On Sunday, we had the bus to Salamanca booked, which me and Rhi made with one minute to spare...I may have been the one to hold responsible...however on the metro to the bus station, I gave Katie a little ring to see if she was on her way, but no suprise at all, she was fast asleep, meaning she had to get the later bus!
The journey was long, but on arrival, we discovered Salamanca is beautiful, with a big light Christmas tree up. We went out for Tapas, both before and when Katie arrived, and I discovered not only some more lush goats cheese tapas, but also a kiwi and cheese one with a sliver of avacado...sounds gross but was soooo lush!! We carried on the evening dancing to a flamenco band in a little bar which was sweet...
On Monday, we explored Salamanca and the churches and convents....we went for more tapas, and had another night out till 4ish dancing and having a general great time.
Tuesday was a day of more culture, the discovery of the frog and a nice lunch in our new favourite cafe in Salamanca. After a siesta and the buying of food, we prepared for our final night out in Salamanca...another great one!!
This weekend gone, I made another little trip to Logroño to visit my friend Cess! It was her 21st!!! I decided to stay in Bilbao the Friday night, due to losing my voice and wanting to get it back!! Saturday morning I got the bus to Logrono, arriving when the doors were being shut...oops...and spent the day eating and chilling with Cess! In the evening we got all dressed up for a night out, her Spanish friends had asked for a smart theme so we all got jazzed up, and began the night drinking Cava...It was a fantastic night, finishing around 6, and it was so good to be able to give Cess presents on her actual birthday on Sunday....
On Sunday we went to the cinema to see Tres Metros Sobre el Cielo...a book that the two of us are reading...which was fantastic!!!!
