Hello :)
2 months hey...sooo...since I last wrote, a week of intense work has been completed...yes it was only 3 days work, but when getting up at 6am, and getting home at half 8 at night, it seems like a lot longer than 3 days!!! It was good though, as I am getting more and more confident with my position in school, and have proposed a school show with all my second bacchier students...17'18 year olds....in March to raise money for Red Nose Day...and its been accepted wooop!
The students seem pretty interested and are either going to be perfoming, helping or some of the guys and me have been talking about a Charity Football match which would also be sweet!
Other than work, I have been trying to relax...as you can imagine...it has yet to happen!
On friday my Uni friend Cess, who is in Logrono, came to visit!!!Was sooo good...when she arrived we had a little wander round Casco Viejo and the river with our beloved roasted chesnuts from the man in the little train!!! Was really beautiful, cause the first Christmas trees have been put up along the river!!
We came home, cooked and got ready for another After Dark Party at the Guggenheim!!Everyone came round which was cool, and we had an awesome night meeting many new people...
On Saturday we hit the shops...nothing was spent on my behalf :( as I have still yet to improve my shopping techniques, however after lunch at home we headed to the Guggenheim, to see it in daylight! It is a beautiful building, both inside and out, however both times I have been, I have been rather dissappointed with the actual artwork...Luckily avoiding the torrental rainstorm whilst in the Guggenheim, we headed back along the river for more Chesnuts and to have a little glimpse of the rowing race going on....A quick turn around at home and we headed of in the rain to see Gisele the ballet at the Theatre....the Theatre is an amazingly beautiful building...and the ballet was very talented, however compared to the normal latin dance shows I have been to with mum, I was a little dissappointed with the actual show....However....we went for Pintxos afterwards which were Lush...being an annoying vegetarian its always tricky and Im getting a little fed up with tortilla ha...and as it was 10pm, alot of Pintxos had actually gone...however the barmen were great and made us special stuff and we hat little pintxos of rissotto wth mushrooms, a vareity of cheeses with mango and apple, vege tapas and another cheesey nut one...yummm....! The night continued to Stromboli...this bar seems to make an appearance everyweek, as does Da Vinci where we continued on to...until 6am :) a very good night...!
On Sunday it continued to tip it down all day...so we were very cheeky and watched an English film in the flat before Cess headed back to Logrono!!
