Arrival to Paris

We caught the Eurostar from St Pancras train station, London to Paris De Nord this morning at 6:55am, it took just over 3 hours to commute.
I didn't even see the English Channel Tunnel as I was sleeping and it only took 20 minutes to pass through, Jason said I didn't miss much!
We were not in the train station 5 minutes before a begger came up trying to scam us for money.
once we left the train station, we walked 20 minutes to get to St Christophers Hostel, it was pouring rain and we both got absolutely drenched!
Within our walk to the hostel we saw many homeless people living on the streets and most of the way smelt of urine.
Once we made it to the hostel, we went to check in only to realise we had booked the wrong dates online, luckily the guy on reception was very helpful and let us book online there so it would be cheaper for us rather than booking it at the desk which would have cost much more.

We have checked the weather forecast and it looks like rain for the next few days. Lucky we have our trusty ponchos on hand..
