Today we left Paris and headed to Bruges on our first stop on our busabout tour.
We arrived at around 12:30pm and made our way up to our camping site (Camp Memling) which is situated about 20 minutes walk out of town, we found the place with ease and checked in and pitched our tiny purple 2 man tent straight away.
We then walked down to the shops to find something to have for dinner and while we were doing that it started pouring rain, just when we would think it couldn’t get any heavier, the heavens would open a little more! (Lucky for us we had our ponchos with us so we didn’t get drenched).
We then headed back to the campsite to make sure our tent was actually waterproof (luckily the answer was yes).
We then hung out in our tiny little tent for the rest of the day and played cards and read.
It was quite an uneventful first day in Bruges!
