hey people:) i havent written anything for two weeks now, sorry for that, but here is an update:)
There is plenty of schoolwork so a lot to do in the weeks, and im also trying to find some time to go swimming two times a week at the scool pool, which sounds easier then it is, to find the time that is:P
last weekend I went surfing with Ingvild, Pål and Anders. Surfing was awesome it is amazing how fun it is, but it really takes it out of you, get really exhausted..the undercurrent was really strong so if you don't fight alot against it you get dragged away from the flags where you are allowed to stay in. Since this is Australia i thik it is smart to listen to the lifeguards;)We took surfing lesson so got some basic info, and learned how to do everything, so now i can go on my own.
Last thursday Association For Norwegian Students Abroad(ANSA) had a quizz, and we cam third or something, but we are gonna make a strong comeback on thursday! followed by a NorSK karaokenight!. so thats gonna be fun:)
This week i experienced my first cloudy day in my five weeks here, actually it wasn't one day, but after 3pm or something, and for like 1 or 2 hours it rained alot, and we had a thunderstorm also with hail, and they where big!
this week i also finally got to fit in a haircut so now i have a little shorter hair again.
Today i had a day at south bank, where Brisbane have a "fake" self created beach by the river, spent the whole day there got some reading done, and got alot of sun and played alot in the water:)The sun is really strong here, so sunscreen 30+ is a must!
Tommorow im going to a Barbeque at Jo Helge and Ann Cecilies flat thats gonna be awesome:)
I am also thinking about going to Papua New Guinea for spring break which is the country right next to here;) i must check up somethings about that country, don't now much about it:S but haven't decided yet...
Since last time i have also had some roomates switching, some are moving and new people are coming in:)
Always fun with new people:) now im living with a girl and a guy from switzerland, one girl from england and one girl from USA, and another guy from Germany is arriving on monday.
I have also been to the movies a few times since last time;) so cheap here for movies, (5-6 dollars), yesterday i saw orphan which is a good thriller or scary movie. I have also seen public enemies, which is a great movie from the old days in the USA with bank robberies etc.
But now i gotta go back to school work im writing a assignment about introducing Starbucks Frappuccino in Norway to chain stores like REMA 1000 or similar stores..
see you later guys:)
